Over the last few years the "NASSCOM Corporate Awards for Excellence in Diversity and Inclusion" has created a platform for hundreds of organisations to share their experience and initiatives in enabling diversity and inclusion. Mercer India is the knowledge partner for the awards process.
The awards recognize:
• Efforts made by organisations through policies, procedures and technology to foster inclusion
• Innovative programmes which are targeted at strengthening diversity and inclusion at the workplace
We now seek applications from you for the "NASSCOM Corporate Awards for Excellence in Diversity and Inclusion 2019".
Objectives:
The awards serve in supporting our industry-wide mission of promoting Diversity & Inclusion. The awards emphasise that embracing inclusivity can boost creativity, innovation and the organisation's gross margins. This would help employers foster workplace cultures that are inclusive.
Award categories:
1.
NASSCOM Corporate Awards for Excellence in Gender Inclusion: To recognise organisations that have institutionalised robust and successful programs for driving and sustaining gender diversity initiatives, policies and processes.
Sub Awards Categories:
1A Company with more than 10,000 employees (Not Applicable for GCCs*)
*GCC(Global Capability Centres): Includes both MNC-owned units that undertake work for the parents’ global operations and the company owned units of domestic firms
1B Company with less than 10,000 employees
1C Global Capability Centers (GCC*) (If you are a GCC, please apply under this category)
1D Emerging Locations*
*Emerging Locations: Head Quarters or Individual entities of Companies located outside of metros such as Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Pune, Chennai, Mumbai, and NCR regions.

NASSCOM Corporate Awards for Excellence in inclusion of Persons with Disability (PwD): To recognise programs which are focused on efforts made by organizations through initiatives, policies, processes and technology to foster inclusion for PwD in terms of:

NASSCOM Corporate Awards for Excellence in LGBTIQ+ Practices and Programs:To recognise unique programs which are highly innovative or promote a completely different approach to the existing ideas in promoting LGBTIQ+ inclusion and equal opportunity.
Eligibility Criteria:
- NASSCOM member and non member organisations who are in Tech Industry offering IT services, BPM, Software products, Engineering & Embedded services (ER&D) and Offshore product development services which have been in existence for at least 2 years. This includes Indian companies, GCCs and MNC third-party players with operations in India; catering to both domestic and international markets.
- For category 1, 2, 3, and 4 nomination is strictly restricted for program that have been launched on or before 1st January, 2018.
- For participation in Category 1, organisations need to provide the accurate employee headcount information to decide their eligibility for category 1A, 1B, 1C, 1D
- For Participation in Category 3, Excellence Awards for innovative programs for Diversity & Inclusion is strictly restricted to unique programs which are highly innovative or promote a completely different approach to the existing ideas in promoting and sustaining diversity and inclusion.
- For participation in Category 3, organisations need to provide the accurate employee headcount information to decide their eligibility for category 3A, 3B, 3C, 3D
- Organisations can submit a maximum of two nominations in each category and can participate in all 4 categories.
The Process:
The application and selection process will be in 3 phases:
Phase 1: Applications will be screened based on the analysis of data entered in this form. The analysis will be presented to an independent jury for shortlisting the participating organizations.
Phase 2: After receiving the completed nomination form and the shortlisted organizations will be solicited for details, supporting documents and a face to face meeting.
Phase 3: Selection - The jury will select the winner. The Winners will be announced on October 22nd / 23rd, 2019 at the NASSCOM Diversity and Inclusion Summit 2019 in Bengaluru.

Incomplete Application Forms received through any mode will disqualify the Applicant from participating in the Awards.
Disqualification of entries received is at the sole discretion of NASSCOM, on a case by case basis.-
