7.

Please tell us why you do not visit your local library

We value your opinion so please tell us what stops you from using the services and resources available at your local library.

Number of participants: 8

- Never have time and don’t read books

- At the moment I haven’t really been reading books so I haven’t been going to the library to get some

- There is no books I prefer or know in the library and have not had the time to go during school

- i dont have time to and i dont have one

- I have no reason to go by myself to the library, as I don't read often or leave the house in general

- It’s because I already own a library at home with lots of books of many different genres and for research purposes I have an entire set of britannica encyclopaedia that I can use.

- I don’t find them amusing/entertaining

- It’s structurally unsafe and has closed for the moment but it also has had problems in the past with there employees being a bit rude that’s the main reason I stopped going because it just seemed like going was somehow a hindrance

8.

What would you like to see your local library offer to make it more appealing to you?

All answers are important to us so please tell us what you would like to see in your local library e.g. types of activities or events

Number of participants: 9

- more fun games and maybe some races and a prize at end of race

- I’d love to see a visual and physical aspect of the library changed for us. I’d prefer if books were more updated and changed and maintained. I’d also like to see more manga’s in our school library.

- More teenage books
Comfortable seats to read

- Comfortable seating areas like beam bags and couch’s more books and to make the place look colourful and very peaceful place to be in and more books for teens

- books should be easier to find/should have more in stock

- More opportunities to learn languages, it's very limited at the moment to just books, which isn't very useful for non-visual learners.

- Probably some book clubs if there aren’t already

- Add more fun things for teenagers

- I would like a better attitude when it comes to the employees maybe having an outside reading area with the proper weather of course it might even help de stress the employees
